Camp Joshua is owned and directed by Lyssa and Stephen Caine.

Lyssa oversees all programs, staff, food services, and the day to day operations at camp. Lyssa has an education in Recreation and Leisure services and is a certified riding instructor. She has been coaching riders of all ages and abilities for over 22 years. Lyssa is an active member of the OCA and actively competes with Stephen and here student at Ontario Horse Trial Events.

Stephen is a firefighter and paramedic who oversees health care, health and safety and maintenance of the entire facility.

Lyssa and Stephen have two children, Noah and Avery who are very much a part of camp life.

Our staff are university and college students who are selected for their skills, horse experience and ability to work with children. Staff certifications include: first aid, lifeguarding and riding. Each staff member participates in a staff training program prior to the start of camp.

With the pressures that face today's youth, camp can be one of the few places that they can be themselves and be respected by everyone there.
