Lyssa oversees all programs, staff, food services, and the day to day operations at camp. Lyssa has an education background in Recreation and Leisure Services and is certified in all areas of camp. She has been in the field of camping, outdoor education and children services field for over 17 years. As an active member with the OCA, she serves as Co-Chair of the Special Needs Resource Committee and for the past 8 years has been a Standards Visitor.

Stephen is a firefighter and paramedic who oversees health care, health and safety, maintenance and together with Lyssa they oversee the camp office.

Lyssa and Stephen have two children, Noah and Avery who are very much a part of camp life.

STAFF

Our staff are university, college and senior high school students who are selected for their skills, experience and ability to work with children. Staff have current certification in life guarding, first aid, canoeing and outdoor education. Each staff member participates in a staff training program prior to the start of camp.

With the pressures that face today's youth, camp can be one of the few places that they can be themselves and be respected by everyone there.
